All abstracts for poster presentation must be submitted before 19th March 2012.
Abstracts must be original and not have been presented at any conferences prior to the 35th AISD National Congress. Acceptance of the abstract is subordinate to the decisions of the Scientific Committee and registration at the Congress of at least one of the abstract’s authors. You will be informed of acceptance via e-mail. Abstracts will be published in the Abstract Book distributed at the congress venue.

GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION

To ensure uniformity of publication authors are required to observe the guidelines below when drawing up their texts:
Abstract title: Limited to 20 words in upper case.
Authors: Family name(s) followed by first name initial(s), Title, Affiliation details: department, institution/hospital, city, country. E-mail address, full postal address and phone number of the presenting author.
Abstract text: Limited to 500 words, title, authors and affiliations excluded, (Use MS Word: go to the ‘Tools’ menu and choose ‘Word count’ to check after inserting tables and graphs). We suggest you break up the text into the conventional sections of Introduction, Materials and Methods, Summary of Results and Conclusions.
Tables, graphs, and images: A maximum of 1 table or 1 image can be included per abstract (image must be sent on a file with good resolution in the Jpeg or tiff format). Indicate the main themes of the abstract.

Abstracts accepted by the scientific committee may also be presented as a poster in the dedicated poster exhibition area of the congress. Poster size must not exceed 100 cm (height) x 70 (width).
